Just full out a Form below. Give us an approximately measurements of the room. Describe your needs. We create a Design and an Estimate. Then we come to your house to take measurements and show samples of the materials.
Do wood colors cost more?
Yes, they cost about 15 - 25 % more than the white one. It depends on how popular the wood decor is. The more this wood grain color is produced, the lower its price.
What is the maximum length for a shelf or closet rod?
The maximum pole length is 42″, and the maximum length for a continuous shelf is 42″ as well. Your designer can recommend the best design to accommodate any space, no matter how wide, by combining our products to optimize your space.
What does "soft-close" mean?
Drawers with soft-close system don’t slam shut — they close automatically smoothly with a gentle push.
How long it takes to install closet?
Many of our installations can be completed in a day. For example two rooms 6 x 8 ft with a three walls closet section each will be installed in one day. Of course, large jobs or complicated projects need more time.
Are shelves adjustable?
Yes, they are. There are two rows of holes in every side of vertical panel. You can adjust every 1 1/4in of a Hight. Even Fixed middle shelves you or our installers can adjust. The top and deck shelves are Fixed to get stability of system.
Where do you get your closet systems?
Our manufacture all of our closet and organization systems locally in Rochester NY. We use only the highest quality materials. Our systems are made in the USA. However, closet accessories — like valet poles, cabinet handles, knobs or doors, are an exception.
What is the typical rule for the Corner in closet project?
Into the corners should go hanging units. Door or drawer units, shelving could be used out of the corners. When you reaching into the corner this makes it easier to get large clothes for small items.
What is the typical rule for the Shelving in closet design?
Shelves with the same width are interchangeable through the system at any time. The best way, if it possible, to get width of shelve units in standard size. The standard width are 18 inches, 24 inches or 30 inches will allow easy to add drawers or accessories at any time.
What is the typical rule for Short Wall in closet system?
Best to apply long hanging or double hanging units for Shortest Wall.
Do you only make closet projects?
We offer storage solutions for Pantry, Home office, Laundry and Mud room, Garage, Library and other spaces in your house requires better organizing.
Do your closet systems suggest on wall rail or stand on the floor?
Sitting on the floor system is really more superior, but wall rail hung closets take less materials and so more affordable. Custom Closet Works create both floor sitting and wall rail suspend design systems.
Do your closets have Back sides?
Most of our projects do not have backing. Actually the walls of your room are back sides of our system. However we can provide backing for extra charge, if it necessary.
What do I need to do to prepare for installation?
Before our installation technicians arrive at your home, remove all personal items. You have to supply touch-up paint for the painting hole spots. Clear the work area - for their safety, we advise you to keep kids and pets out of the working area. Allow our installers to enter your home the closest entrance to the driveway, they can easily unload all project material and their tools. Make sure other vehicle do not impede our carrying to the closet location.
Do you remove existing wire shelves or cabinets?
Yes, we remove "old" existing wire shelves or cabinets that may already be in your Closet for FREE.
Do you patch and paint the holes?
Yes, we will patch and paint the holes (that we make as result of removing existing shelves and cabinets) for FREE. Pay attention the customer must provide paint for painting.
But some of the clients wants "new wall look", to them we suggest that you engage the painter (or do it yourself) to remove existingshelves and cabinets and completely prepare and paint the walls before the arrival our installers.
What is a warranty on your product?
Custom Closet Works offers a limited lifetime warranty on the products we manufacture and install. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of storage system component parts having defects. If a part is defective as per the terms of the warranty, CCW will repair the defective part or furnish a replacement part at no cost.
This warranty applies under conditions of normal use for the stated, intended purpose of the product. This warranty specifically excludes defects that result from intentional damage, negligence, installation by anyone other than a Custom Closet Works installer, reinstallation or relocation of the system after initial installation, unreasonable use or exposure.
This warranty applies only if all components and parts are manufactured, supplied by or installed by Custom Closet Works.
What is your return policy?
Due to the custom nature of our products we don't offer returns. It's not something that we can put back into inventory. However, if you don't like your system in any way, we ask you to contact us, so we can remedy the situation.
